Over the 100 years since the First World War, Gwynedd and the Caernarfon Community have been at the heart of Wales’ stories reflecting the impact of war, and the search for peace. This ‘Remembering for Peace’ trail has been put together by community groups with the ‘Wales for Peace’ project - to inspire a new generation of peacebuilders through our local stories, and for visitors to explore to Caernarfon’s beautiful town, community and culture.
